Abstract

General Background Inventory management plays a crucial role in supporting operational control in industrial companies. Specific Background PT AKSI manages diverse inventory items, including raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and company assets, which were previously recorded using manual spreadsheet-based methods. Knowledge Gap Manual inventory practices cause data inaccuracies, limited access, slow data tracking, and the absence of real-time updates. Aims This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory system tailored to the internal needs of PT AKSI. Results The developed system provides features for managing suppliers, warehouse stock, incoming and outgoing goods, user access, and inventory reports. Functional testing using black-box methods indicates that all core system functions operate as expected. Novelty This study presents a structured implementation of a role-based web inventory system adapted to an industrial case context. Implications The system supports more structured data management, facilitates real-time inventory monitoring, and assists internal users in inventory control and reporting activities.
