Abstract

Thesis is a requirement to get bachelor status (S1) in every university State (PTN) and Private Universities (PTS) in Indonesia. The term thesis as undergraduate thesis is only used in Indonesia. To complete the thesis students at PTN or PTS are required to apply what they learn into an application or application in a particular field of learning, as well as in the form of computer applications. This thesis develops and focuses on the majors taken during college such as Mathematics and Natural Sciences, computers and others.
Therefore, although students have learned a lot of material while in college but there are still many who are confused to determine the title of the thesis that suits him especially in computer majors because of the difficulty in programming and others, the writer tries to create a decision support system that helps students to determine the desired thesis title using the Simple Additive Weigthing (SAW) method. Thus the students majoring in computers do not find it difficult and confused determine the title of the thesis that suits them because the decision support system is designed in such a way that it meets or is equal to their abilities.
