Through the learning process, various aspects of life can be improved through education. The importance of learning is to educate students to become more competent individuals, one of which is by using educational game- based learning media for learning computer systems. The aim of this research is to test the feasibility of media in the form of Android-based educational games (.apk) in informatics subjects. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method. using the Borg & Gall model.

Highlights:

Enhances student engagement with interactive learning media.

Uses narrative challenges to simplify complex technical topics.

Rated highly feasible and usable by both experts and students.

Keywords: Game, RPG, Instructional Media, Education, Development
2022-04-21T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Irvan Saputra, Akbar Wiguna https://jicte.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jicte/article/view/1632Closed Project-Based Learning Model Boosts Critical Thinking in Vocational Students2024-11-18T10:02:33+00:00Danny Ageng Firmasnyahdannyageng07@gmail.comRahmania Sri Untari rahmania.sriuntari@umsida.ac.id
This study evaluates the impact of the innovative learning method of Close Project Based Learning (CPjBL) on critical thinking skills of vocational students in network system administration courses. The research was conducted in a classroom of SMK Dian Indonesia with 10 students, using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study analyzed by paired t-test showed that students' critical thinking skills improved significantly after the application of the CPjBL method, and the average post-test score (86.6) was higher than the pre-test.Rephrase check (82). The Shapiro-Wilk normality test confirmed that the data were normally distributed, and the paired t-test results showed a significance level of 0.002 (p<0.05) indicating a significant difference after treatment. This study shows that the CPjBL method is effective in improving the critical thinking skills of vocational students, as evidenced by an increase in understanding and practical skills in network administration.

Highlights:

CPjBL significantly boosts critical thinking in network administration.

Post-test scores improved notably after applying CPjBL.

Effective instructional model for vocational technical education.

Keywords: CPjBL, Critical Thingking, Project Based Learning, One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design.
2022-04-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Danny Ageng Firmasnyah, Rahmania Sri Untari https://jicte.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jicte/article/view/1637Decision Support System for Ranking Student Achievement Using SAW Method2024-11-18T10:09:24+00:00Muhammad Miko Hilmi Zakiya201080200072@umsida.ac.idNuril Lutvi Azizahnurillutviazizah@umsida.ac.id
Education is a key factor in a country's progress, with student achievement a reflection of the success of the learning process. Students' academic and non-academic achievements are influenced by various factors, including the important role of teachers and parents. In some elementary schools, manual assessment methods are an obstacle in measuring student performance accurately, especially because most teachers are not yet familiar with technology. This creates challenges in determining student achievement and providing appropriate guidance regarding their future decisions. To overcome this problem, this research aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to assist in determining outstanding students. It is hoped that this SPK can facilitate the evaluation process, provide clearer information about student performance, and help teachers provide better advice to students. Thus, it is hoped that this system can improve the quality of education in elementary schools and support more optimal student achievement.

Highlights:

Improves evaluation accuracy by automating student performance ranking.

Uses SAW method to objectively assess and compare student achievements.

Promotes technology adoption in education for better decision-making.

Keywords: System Design, Information Systems, Decision Support Systems
2022-04-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Miko Hilmi Zakiya, Nuril Lutvi Azizahhttps://jicte.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jicte/article/view/1624Web-Based Booking System for Home Cleaning Services at Niceklin2024-11-18T10:07:36+00:00Krisna Aji Pangestu Perdanakrisnaadji177@gmail.comYulian Findawatiyulianfindawati@umsida.ac.id
Niceklin still uses manual service orders by contacting the admin or visiting the location directly, this is the reason the author created an online service ordering information system using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method and the Laravel framework inspired by MySQL with the aim of making it easier for customers to Determine the date and time of the order, then the order details will be entered into the customer's email, apart from that the customer can submit proof of payment online in the system. This information system also makes it easy for admins to process the services offered if changes occur. Testing on the home cleaning service booking information system is carried out in two types, namely black box testing and SUS (System Usability Scale) with the final score obtained at 70 or in the quite good category.

Highlights:

Streamlined Booking Process: The system allows customers to schedule services and receive email confirmations online.

Improved User Experience: Incorporates online payment validation and detailed service pricing, addressing existing service gaps.

High Usability Score: Achieved a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 70, indicating effective user satisfaction.

Keywords: Information System, Service Ordering, Website
2022-04-24T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Krisna Aji Pangestu Perdana, Yulian Findawatihttps://jicte.umsida.ac.id/index.php/jicte/article/view/1638Evaluating Healthcare Service Quality for BPJS Participants Using Fuzzy Mamdani2024-11-18T10:11:32+00:00Ahmad Refin Irwantoahmadrefin3@gmail.comNuril Lutvi Azizahnurillutviazizah@umsida.ac.id
This research discusses the evaluation of healthcare service performance based on service quality for BPJS participants by measuring service performance in the categories of perception and expectation. The community health center (Puskesmas) serves as a sub-district level public health service ensuring health for the community, particularly BPJS participants. This study aims to determine healthcare service performance in terms of patient satisfaction. The research utilizes the Mamdani fuzzy logic method, with perception and expectation as input variables and service quality as the output. MATLAB software is used to implement the fuzzy logic. Data collection was conducted by randomly distributing questionnaires to BPJS patients at the Puskesmas Tarik. From the input data collected from respondents, the average service quality score obtained was 2 on a Likert scale of (1-3). Meanwhile, the Mamdani fuzzy logic calculation resulted in a score of 59.3. Based on these results, it is concluded that the current service quality of Puskesmas Tarik is considered to be moderate.
Highlights:

Evaluation of healthcare service quality using Fuzzy Mamdani.

BPJS participants' satisfaction measured through perception and expectation.

Moderate service quality score indicates the need for improvement.

Keywords: Quality of Service, Fuzzy Mamdani, Perceptions, Expectations, BPJS
2022-04-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Ahmad Refin Irwanto, Nuril Lutvi Azizah
